Our Fresh
Bakery Counter
The vast majority of our pastry goods are made and baked in house.
Pies, Pastries & Sausage Rolls
We have a choice of Pork, Steak and Chicken pies, plus Cornish Pasties, Steak Bakes and a variety of Quiche.
Our Local Favourite Pork Pies are available in a variety of different sizes and can be made with or without jelly by request.
Our Sausage Rolls are made using the same family recipe and sell really fast, so get down early to not be disappointed.
Confectionery Counter
We have a large selection of Homemade confectionery including muffins, Toffee Buns, Lemon Buns and a range of tray bakes including Chocolate Flapjack, Current Slice and loads more! We also offer a range of Fresh cream cakes and vanilla slices made on the premises daily.

Our Breads & Sandwiches
We make our Sandwiches Fresh to Order using our own baked bread and a range of home cooked meats.
Baked Breads
We have a variety of different Breads and Bread Cakes, all baked to the original recipe that was developed back in 1985.
Our Breads are made using Flour sourced locally from Bradshaw’s Mill in Driffield.
Cold Sandwiches
Why not add extra Cheese or Coleslaw to really top off your favourite sandwich or choose from a range of condiments supplied by Bracken Hill Fine Foods.
Hot Sandwiches
We have a variety of different hot sandwich fillings and combinations for you to choose from such as Bacon, Sausage, Egg, Bacon and Egg, Bacon and Sausage, Sausage and Egg & our all-time Favourite Bacon, Sausage and Egg.
Why not add Black Pudding as an optional extra just to make that sandwich even better.
Extra's
We serve a variety of Cold drinks and Juices. Our Hot drinks are made fresh to order and are a great option to go with the lunchtime sandwich.
Plus, we sell a variety of Crisps, Sauces and locally made Chutney’s and Pickles from Bracken Hill Fine Foods.
Our Bespoke
Pork Pies
At C Dawson & Sons, we have been creating our Personalised Traditional Pork Pies for over 6 years. They are the perfect present, or ideal as a centre piece at your celebration. From ‘Happy Wedding Day’ to ‘New Home’, ‘Baby Shower’ to ‘Happy Birthday’ so long as the text will fit, we can personalise your Pork Pie with whatever wording you choose.
Available in five sizes, our handmade Traditional Pork Pie has been unchanged from the original family recipe since we first started baking Pork Pies. We use choice cuts of pork loin, leg and shoulder, and blend it with our unique mix of herbs and spices. The Pork Pie meat is then encased it in our handmade hot water pastry.
Once baked to perfection we add jelly to produce a pie you will not forget!
Our Catering Service
If you have a group of people to feed you can count on us to supply all you need to put on the perfect spread to delight your guests. We cater for corporate lunches, wedding receptions, funerals, parties and other buffet style events.
All our buffet items are fresh, locally sourced, so you can be assured you are eating the finest quality produce.
